Hiburim of Beit Shean and the Valley (Emek HaMa’ayanot) established their social initiative as a response to the current plight of Israeli farmers, and with a view to the future for the younger generation, who are unfamiliar with the Jewish ethic of working the Land and the fundamental, historical, and national value of agriculture in Israel.
Hiburim – Connecting Through Agriculture caters to these needs with its range of educational programs, suitable for any audience at any time and place.
Through our programs, we are witness to the role agriculture plays in 2024 as a means of creating connections between different groups in Israeli society, between past and future, and between the individual and their roots.
We cover the full range of logistics, including transport, finances, and accommodation.
We provide the group with the appropriate educational instruction.
We match up the farmer’s needs with the group of volunteers accordingly.
