The family center
The Family Center
highlights the need to nurture the family unit, providing tools to deal with crisis situations in the family. The Center was established in the belief that an effective response in crisis situations will make it possible for the family to overcome difficulties and to generate personal and family growth.
The Center’s activities emphasize the strengthening of the family and issues of relationships, love, education, and beneficial parent-child relationships, in the understanding that stability and empowerment of the family unit will strengthen the mental and physical health of all family members.
Moreover, the Center constitutes a focus for social-communal activities related to wholeness and offers year-round enrichment workshops, treatment of at-risk youth, seminars and professional development on issues of parenting, education, and family for the entire community
Building A Home
Netanel Silberg was born in Alon Shvut in Gush Etzion, studied at the Chiburim Hesder Yeshiva in Beit She'an, enlisted in the army, and became a team commander in the Yahalom Unit. During the Iron Swords War, Netanel enlisted and fought in Gaza. On December 18, 2023, Netanel fell during a battle in the northern Gaza Strip.
Netanel's family decided to commemorate his memory by establishing a permanent building for the Family Center in Beit She'an.
The center provides therapeutic and professional services to the residents of Beit She'an and the entire surrounding area. Thanks to the new building, it will be able to increase and expand its activities.
